Free Tetris
Free classic Tetris game is a puzzle where the player must place one or more lines of falling blocks. The more fields you remove the first time that you get more points. Tetris is a well known free online game.
History of Tetris
Tetris was invented in Russia around 1985, was never patented. The author of this excellent game is Alexey Pajitnov (Pazhitnov), who assisted Dmitry Pavlovsky and Vadim Gerasimov. Computer engineers, Alexey Pajitnov and Dmitry Pavlovsky worked together in the Computer Center of Russian Academy of Sciences. Alexey Pajitnov had already won several psychological games. High school student, Vadim Gerasimov (he was just 16 years old) has just written a program to encrypt directories for MS DOS that direction when he met two. Alexey Pajitnov is a first imagined the game Tetris, created on the basis of another of his games, Genetic Engineering. Alexey Pajitnov and Henk Rogers later founded the Tetris Company.
The name Tetris comes from the Greek words tetra, meaning ‘four’. This is a computer puzzle game in which different shapes composed of four squares fall down. The player spins and moves the blocks from left to right and sets for himself. When he manages to arrange a full horizontal line, it disappears and the blocks move downward.
Tetris Game Rules
Pads called ‘tetramino’ – which give the shape of four squares – are falling around the board. The aim is to put them across the width of the line, without any gaps. When you manage to lay this line, it disappears and the blocks above it (if any) fall. Each block can rotate. After a time the blocks start falling faster and faster, and the game ends when a player ‘stuck’, ie when tetramino reach the top of the board and there is no room for another. In the game there are seven different shapes tetramino, they correspond to the letters I, J, L, O, S, T, and Z-shaped block only I can clear four rows at a time.
